What is the Arts Market of New Orleans? Presented by the Arts Council of New Orleans, the Arts Market is a monthly arts market held the LAST Saturday of every month. Located at Palmer Park in the lovely Carrollton Section of Uptown New Orleans (At the corner of two well trafficked streets, S. Claiborne Ave and S. Carrollton Ave,) the Arts Market is open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and has no admission charge. What kind of art is featured at the Arts Market?
The Arts Market features handmade, affordable art from local and regional artists and artisans. Styles of art include Painting, Photography, Ceramics, Glass, Jewelry, Wood, and Printmaking, plus handmade clothing, soap, candles, and other delights. Between 50 and 100 artists display and sell their wares each month. What else happens at the Arts Market?
The Arts Market also features live entertainment, food and beverage booths, and a children's activities area. How are artists accepted to exhibit at the Market?
The Market is always looking for new artists from LA and MS who are interested in exhibiting their handmade, original work. Interested artists who have never exhibited at the Arts Market should download and complete the application and mail it in with their fee and work samples to:

New artist applications must be received by the Arts Council at least two weeks prior to that month's market to be eligible for consideration.
